Okay, to be fair to myself, I'm not commenting about how hot he is, or how I wish I was his waifu, because that's disgusting. Besides, he looks like an albino Justin Bieber, which I would have no problem with, except for the fact he doesn't really look very magical...
I guess I'm fangirling over him because, like Elef, I haven't watched the whole movie but I've seen quite a few scenes to decide for myself I like him as a character. He's the Guardian of Fun for heaven's sake! Sure, he is bland in a sense, and maybe I would fangirl over him more if he his personality was amplified or something, but I still like him! He's fun-loving, he's mischievous, he's kind, has a big-brother instinct, goes through all the problems we do...and need I mention his tearjerking backstory?
I dunno why, despite the fact that his backstory was sad, I can't help but feel fascinated by it. The whole thing about the Man in the Moon essentially turning him into CIRNO (or Letty, whichever) because it was touched by his Heroic Sacrifice thing, and that he became well...what we all know him as. It's just so interesting. Still, the opening scenes were rather heartbreaking. The fact that after what happened to him, no one could see him, hear him or touch him for 300 years, leaving him cold, bitter, and full of despair, mellowed out slightly only by the Guardians and seeing the joy of children when he does something like a snowball fight, and yet, everything is just a mask...
...oh my gosh, I just realized it. I'm attracted to cold, bitter and despairing characters because I feel like hugging them.
