The irony is that while I really am a born Singaporean AND my race is Chinese, I don't find myself speaking much Singlish and I have an American/British-esque accent that the pai kiahs classmates at school love to make fun of. So for this special comic, I'm talking in Singlish for most of the panels!

Happy National Day!

Note: Singaporean or not, you have to remember that this is a satire comic that should not be taken seriously. Please please PLEASE for the love of Shinki, don't flame me.

I can empathise with you, I'm born English but completely foreign by blood (half French, half Chinese) and apparently speaks with an accent which people used to make fun of.

But than again, coincidences are a hell of lot more common than people think. Some are responsible for some damn big things.

Its good to just put in the lahs and mahs and lehs and all the so called 'enhancements'. But the best part of Singlish is the vulgarities itself; they are much much stronger than english ones.

Nah. I'm not the type who spams vulgarities every 5 seconds, not even English ones.

Well, it is useful for antagonizing and engaging in verbal stand-offs. I don't usually swear either but I keep my Hokkien ICBMs at the ready.

Oh man I find this so hilarious XD It's funny because I like to talk like that. Good to know what Singapore is like since it's one of the places I've want to visit the most. 2nd to Japan.

Also the fact that Singaporeans and Malaysians have a love-hate relationship with each other

Yes I do wonder about that. But I live in Sarawak. So I think it might have been better if Sarawak didn't mix with Malaysia. We might be rich right now. Would probably be more advance than we are now and would probably have our own currency. Probably. Since Sarawak was one of the more economically advantaged countries, other than Brunei and Singapore back then I think.
