Wintery Silent Night

Merry Christmas, one and all. And many apologies for my recent inactivity.

Things have been kinda rough over here. I know I spent quite some time uploading nothing but Imperator Zim stuff, and those of you who don't care for IZ were probably confused. Truth is, while it was all fun working on another plot bunny, I was also caught up in school exams, Project Work, an extra two weeks of school to rush through the JC syllabus, and before December rolled around I was completely out of steam. I don't think you can call it 'depression', but wintery moodiness seems to always get to all of us, me most of all. Nevertheless I don't think I can make any excuse for not updating you guys except for a tiny blurb in The Crossroad's poster. So for that, I'm sorry you guys

And since December rolled around I've been picking back my steam, but given that I have holiday homework to finish too, I had to wait until the Christmas break to finally start getting back to Walfas. And hey, it's Christmas! I always make something for Christmas - it's the best most jolly holiday of the year! So I made this cute little picture of some of my characters just enjoying the silent night and the not-birthday of Jesus Christ.

If you're wondering about the Bible verse I chose...well...the Bible story of Jesus' birth celebrated on this day isn't anything new. In fact, it's so overheard that most of us just kinda forget about it altogether. What with presents and Christmas shopping and family reunions and big fat men in red suits, even the most religious of us can sometimes forget the whole reason and spirit behind this awesome holiday. But God isn't angry by our blunders. All he wants is just for us to remember the love and fun we can have because of him, and even on this day just talk to him and remember his goodness. I mean, to the one who's, you know, died for the sins of all humanity, that's the least we can do, right?

Well regardless of what religion you are and if you bothered to read my ramblings, Merry Christmas and have a great holiday!
